This was the slogan of the 10th Blechexpo show held in Stuttgart, Germany, from June 6 to 10, 2011. The “little sister” of EuroBlech in Hannover – the two fairs are held in alternating years – is now becoming more and more emancipated thanks to an increasing stream of domestic and international industry visitors.
The KVT Solutioneering Group was represented by its German branch at this international industry fair for everything from the world of sheet metal production and processing.
Among the focal points of the show were riveting technologies with the product lines POP® blind rivets, HUCK® heavy-duty rivets and lock bolts, FILKO blind rivet nuts and KD TECH® blind rivet nuts. In the case of the latter, this concerns a relatively new product from the KVT Group. KD stands for “Kontrollierte Deformation” (controlled deformation) and offers users an extensive range of options in construction processes and an enormous expansion in potential fields of application. This segment was rounded out by the presentation of corresponding processing tools.
A prominent role was also played by PEM® press-in fasteners.
We demonstrated the use of these fasteners in practice with the PEMSERTER®3000MB™ automatic inserter and an example of multishell technology. Multishell technology enables users to work with four different press-in components in one single process.
The presentation of Southco latching elements emphasized not only the immense diversity of their latching solutions, but also the extremely attractive design of the product line.
The KVT Solutioneering Group appearance at the show was topped off by a presentation of the entire range of product lines for this segment. Once again, ample proof that whatever the fastening problem, KVT has the ideal solution.
